Mk2 GTI.
Note the lack of things. No alloys, no tinted glass, no sunroof. If I looked inside I’m sure I’d find windy up windows too. Different times.

I somehow doubt thats a real gti. Looks like either someone just st uck on a GTI bumper and grill.

It’s possible certainly but VW did make basic GTIs - at the time just about everything was an optional extra.

coincidentally I saw a Mk1 cabriolet wheezing up I-94 on my way home from work. Of course, it was brown, like seemingly 99% of the Rabbits sold in the US.
